2012 Statistics for
Statistics for Mission 2012 provides the latest figures on
Church of England attendance and occasional offices, including new
statistics on our worshipping community and numbers of people
joining and leaving. Overall in 2012, on average 1.05m people
attended Church of England churches each week showing no
significant change over the past decade; and over the year the
Church of England conducted over 356,000 services of baptism,
wedding and funerals at an average of about 6,700 each week -
almost 1,000 per day - marking the rites of passage in people's
lives in communities across the country.

Attendance and occasional offices 2011 provides the latest
statistics for weekly, Sunday, Christmas and Easter attendance,
alongside figures on the Electoral Roll and Occasional offices.
