Church Buildings (Uses & Disposals) Committee
The Commissioners' Church Buildings (Uses & Disposals)
Committee oversees the work of the Closed Churches Division
carrying out the Commissioners' functions under Part III of the
Pastoral Measure, securing suitable alternative uses where
possible.
Among other responsibilities, it
considers any representations against proposals for the future of a
closed church building and decides what should happen if a suitable
alternative use cannot be found.
