Beneficiaries can apply to the Board for Rental accommodation one year before their intended retirement date to establish eligibility; however, an application will not be progressed more than nine months prior to the retirement date, because properties should be occupied as soon as possible, since costs are incurred by the Board. 

The terms and conditions of the Scheme, including types of property that would be acceptable, are contained within the Retirement Housing Booklet. Should you be approaching retirement age and considering your retirement home, the Board's staff would be pleased to offer you guidance.  Please download an Application Form and then return it to the Housing Department.
