Copyright law is complex!
CCLI offer a useful guide to differenct licences many churches find
useful - http://www.ccli.co.uk/licences/guide.cfm
In addition some education / training work in church is helped
by multiple copies or electronic copies of printed material (other
than hymns). Some publications designed for parish use say
they can be copied - if not you need a licence to
copy.
Dioceses and churches can not use the same copyright
arrangements that apply to schools or colleges. An Adult
Education Licence can cover this copying.
