Institutions, including the Archbishops' Council, the Church
Commissioners and the Church of England Pensions Board.

Leading a media team of four, I concentrate on planning,
writing, answering enquiries and encouraging colleagues in telling
the Church's story through news, features, drama, documentary and
quiz shows. With 10 years in farm journalism and four with The
Children's Society press office, I came here in 1991.

Dealing with national press enquiries, and developing media
campaigns. Portfolio includes the Weddings Project, Back to Church
Sunday and CHP. Economics degree and CIPR diploma. Previously
worked for PA compiling TV pages; freelance editing
for Yorkshire Post Magazines; freelance feature-writing for more
than 70 publications.

Senior Media Officer
Dealing with media enquiries - portfolio includes education,
child protection, environment and general sourcing of 'good
news' stories about the church. Politics degree and NCTJ
journalism training. Reporter on Liverpool Daily Post and Echo
plus 15 years of freelance journalism including Church
Times and BBC campaigns.

Portfolio includes finance-related topics and Cathedral and
Church Buildings. Law degree. Joined Church Commissioners in 1975,
working in either training/deployment or communications/public
affairs, including a spell at Lambeth Palace.

Internal Communications, principally dealing with the
communications officers in the dioceses. Combined Studies Arts
degree. Twenty years as a professional broadcaster, journalist and
producer for National and International broadcasters. Ten years as
Diocesan Communications Director in St Edmundsbury and
Ipswich.

Gray Communications Officer
Manages the Communications Training programme and
co-ordinates work on wedding shows and other projects. Music
degree plus teacher training qualification, training and
marketing for a music examination board and the National
Blood Service.
