Bishop of Woolwich appointed Bishop for Urban Life and Faith

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are delighted to announce the appointment of the Rt Revd Christopher Chessun as Bishop for Urban Life and Faith. Bishop Christopher will fulfill this role alongside his ministry as Bishop of Woolwic,h drawing on his experience as an urban practitioner. He succeeds the Rt Revd Stephen Lowe who retired last year.
