The Presiding Officer for the following elections in the General
Synod has certified that the persons named below have been duly
elected.
House of Laity - Election of Chair and
Vice-Chair:
Chair - Dr Philip Giddings (Oxford)
Vice-Chair - Mr Tim Hind (Bath and Wells)
House of Clergy - Election by the Lower Houses of their
Prolocutors:
Convocation of Canterbury - Ven Christine
Hardman (Southwark)
Convocation of York - Canon Glyn Webster
(York)
The above four positions each confer ex-officio membership of
the Archbishops' Council.
