The Church of England has engaged in relationships with churches
abroad for over 300 years.
First through the Anglican Mission Agencies who were
later joined by the Diocesan Companion Links, the Church
of England has both given and received much from our partners in
the Anglican Communion. There are also a number of smaller Mission
Agencies which relationships with particular countries or world
regions. These are the Associate Agencies.
These relationships continue today through the Mission Agencies,
the Diocesan Companion Links, parish to parish and school to school
links.
Partnership for World Mission is the body that links the General
Synod and the National Church Institutions with the Mission
Agencies and the Diocesan Companion Links.
