Jesus liked children. He stood up for them, at a time when society gave them no voice.
The Church of England continues to value children. Today it works alongside children and young people through volunteer activities like parent and toddler groups, playgroups, Sunday schools, and youth clubs. It also has more formal responsibilities in its work with Church schools across the country.
