Introduction |

Where the Epistles and Gospels printed out in The Book of
Common Prayer are used at the Principal Service on Sundays and
Holy Days, the Common Worship Second and Third Service
Lectionaries (Common Worship: Services and Prayers for the
Church of England, pages 537-590) may nonetheless be used at
other services in the day. If this option is chosen, the variations
contained in this Schedule should be followed. |

Use of the Common Worship Lectionary with the
Calendar of The Book of Common Prayer |

|
The Common Worship Lectionary for Sundays, Holy Days
and Special Occasions may, optionally, be used in conjunction with
the days included in the Calendar of The Book of Common
Prayer, notwithstanding any difference in the title or name of
a Sunday, Holy Day or other observance included in both
Calendars. |
