The Commission was delighted to partner with Baroness Andrews, chair of the House of Lords Adult Social Care Committee, for a parliamentary debate on 30th March 2023 in which we discussed our respective reports and asked the Government to outline a long-term plan for adult social care.

The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Commission’s Co-Chair, the Rt Revd James Newcome, Bishop of Carlisle, both spoke in the debate. Their speeches can be read here.
