The Church of England has published a new resource aimed at keeping climate change issues at the forefront of people’s minds.

The 2026 Environment Days and Key Events Calendar features key days, weeks and months which are associated with the environment, climate change awareness, and the journey to net zero carbon.

The calendar is designed to support parishes and dioceses in raising awareness about climate change and in planning events and campaigns that encourage local eco-projects. It is available as an interactive PDF with links to further information about each featured event.

The Church of England’s Environment Programme exists to equip the whole Church to respond to the climate crisis - in faith, practice, and mission. This includes reducing our own carbon emissions and engaging in wider environmental action.
