Real assets

The Church Commissioners for England's investment portfolio includes a diverse range of land ownership – and our role as a steward for this land is integral to our approach.

The Real Assets portfolio includes land used for agriculture, forestry, delivering housing and commercial spaces, and renewable energy production. We work hard to make sure that our land is managed in a way that supports nature, alongside our investment objectives. This is an important part of our responsible and ethical investment practice.
