Proposals affecting the benefice of of The South Rodings, the benefice of High and Good Easter with Margaret Roding and the benefice of Great Canfield with High Roding and Aythorpe Roding.

Proposals include:

- the termination of group ministry established for the benefice of The South Rodings, the benefice of High and Good Easter with Margaret Roding and the benefice of Great Canfield with High Roding and Aythorpe Roding;

- the union of the said three benefices (their constituent parishes to remain distinct), the appointment of the first incumbent of the new benefice and for his parsonage house to be that of the benefice of The South Rodings, for the parsonage house of the benefice of Great Canfield with High Roding and Aythorpe Roding and the parsonage house of the benefice of High and Good Easter with Margaret Roding to be transferred to the Chelmsford Diocesan Board of Finance for diocesan purposes and for the future patronage arrangements for the new benefice.

This consultation expires on Monday 15th August 2022.

Anyone may make representations (formal comments) for or against the draft scheme.

In order to be considered by the Commissioners, comments must be submitted in writing, either by post or electronically. You can do this in one of two ways:
