For school leaders, Faith at Home is a call to help children and young people discover God’s presence in the place they spend most of their time. It is a call to choose a lifelong exploration of a growing faith, nurtured in the normal everyday elements of life together.

Faith at Home Series 2: Autumn 2020

How do we flourish together?

Each session will centre around an encounter Jesus has with someone in the Bible, which helps us explore the themes below. There will be resources for Years Reception-Year 4, Years 5-8 and Years 9-13. For each theme, we will provide a series of short film clips, tutor resource pack and a range of home-based activities:

Key Festival: Harvest (released 28th September)

October

5^th - Why do we belong together? (community and interdependence)
19^th - How do we know we are loved? (self-esteem and security)

November

2^nd - How do we get back on track? (character and renewal)
16^th - How do we make sense of our feelings? (mental health and wellbeing)
30^th - How do we face our fears? (anxiety and failure)

December

Key Festivals: Advent and Christmas (released early November)
7^th - How can we have hope for tomorrow? (faith and confidence)

Faith at Home Series 3: Spring and Summer 2021

How can we ‘be the change we want to see in the world’?

Each session will explore issues of social justice through 4 Biblical narratives. There will be resources for Years Reception-Year 4, Years 5-8 and Years 9-13. For each theme, we will provide a series of short film clips, tutor resource pack and a range of home-based activities. These will be released fortnightly on a Monday:

We are delighted to publish a new suite of resources for School Leaders focused on Grief, Bereavement and Loss called ‘Never the Same’. These resources are based on the 4 areas of the Church of England Vision for Education, and offer reflection, discussion questions and a wide range of practical activities to support school leaders for this current season and beyond.
