Team Rector, Diocese of Bristol

I was born and brought up in the East End of London before moving to Bristol 30 years ago.

An accountant by profession, prior to ordination I worked at a senior level in the Environment Agency, on strategy development and delivery.

My experience in leadership roles in the local church goes back twenty years, first as PCC member and treasurer, later as a Licensed Lay Minister and as Deanery Lay Chair. I studied at Trinity College, Bristol, was ordained in 2015 and served my curacy in Yate Parish, one of Bristol Diocese’s strategic mission areas. I came to Kingswood and Hanham in 2018, where I am Team Rector, serving five churches and a diverse urban/suburban community. I am a member of Diocesan Synod and on the Board of Finance for the Diocese.

I have been blessed over the years by a number of mentors, people who invested in me, encouraged me and challenged me and I in turn, have sought to be a blessing to others.

As a mentor, my hope would be to walk alongside you, as you seek to ‘join in’ with all that God is already doing in you. Sometimes to ask hard questions, but always to love and build up in Christ.

I am an evangelical, but comfortable in a range of church traditions. From a Roman Catholic family and educated at a convent school, I was confirmed in the Church of England aged 27.  Worshipping God, in community and inviting others to know Him is what church is for me.

I can offer a couple of hours per month, face to face or on video conference.
