My name is Eileen Rose. I am currently a Self-Supporting Assistant Curate at Emmanuel Parish Church in Leyton, Waltham Forest Deanery, Chelmsford Diocese. In my secular role I have worked as a qualified Psychotherapist for nearly thirty years and am currently employed at Kings College University counselling students. I thoroughly enjoy working with people and have done so in various roles including mentoring, supervising and teaching for different organisations. With my vast experience of working with people of all kind I am open to offering mentoring to anyone who is interested in using my support.

I think I am a mentor who is open to all people. I am honest, kind, thoughtful, openly spoken, enjoy serving others and love responding to God! I am very experienced in working with challenging and sensitive issues, and particularly issues when boundaries are necessary to be adhered to. Therefore I believe this positon as an Ordained Vocations Mentor is such whereby anyone wishing to consider their calling to Priesthood must be treated with integrity and respect. I was fortunate to have had a positive experience during my calling and it led to my ordination as a Deacon in September 2019. I feel encouraged to be a support for others.

I enjoy socialising with my family and friends, reading and writing. I also enjoy leisure time at retreats and spas. I have been at my current church for over twenty five years and am pleased to be serving my curacy there. My church background is Anglican tradition and I also enjoy other traditions such as Charismatic and Evangelical. On the whole, where singing, praising and thanking God, for his mercies endures forever, I am happy to be!
