I understand the challenges of Training from a number of perspectives. I come from a working class background and left school with very little in the way of qualifications. When I started training for Ordained Ministry in the Church of England it was found that I was dyslexic. Additionally I started my academic training in my late 40’s. However I managed to leave with a Degree of which I am proud of. I have a heart for supporting those who do not come from high academic backgrounds and those who find the world of academia an unnatural place to be. I have just finished my curacy and will be taking up my first stipendary incumbency when the Lockdown restrictions allow. I have two grown up children one about to start uni and one just about to leave, I have two dogs and a husband.
