I am priest in charge of i-church.org, the online community founded by the Diocese of Oxford. I am also an assistant priest (NSM) in the Diocese of Coventry, and a member of the Church of England’s Pioneer Panel, which assists Bishops and DDOs in discerning a vocation to ordained pioneer ministry (OPM). I am available to mentor anyone who needs support and encouragement at any point in the vocations process, including right at the start. I can offer mentoring conversations of up to one hour, in person or by remote technologies like FaceTime, Skype and Zoom.
I was ordained Deacon in 2004 and priested in 2005 and have been in my current role in i-church for 12 years. Before ordination, I have worked as a teacher, NHS administrator and a lay prison chaplain. I have experience both of full-time and non-stipendiary ministry, combining ministry with paid work where necessary.
I don’t identify with any particular church tradition. The only language I speak fluently is English.
As a mentor, I aim to be kind and supportive, while asking the right questions to help you to progress on your vocational journey. Having undergone a very slow vocational process myself, I have a particular interest in helping anyone who feels ‘stuck’ in some way.
