My name is Sandra Schloss, I am currently the Priest in Charge of St Luke’s in Peckham, although it is part of the Camberwell Deanery. I am also the Area Dean for Camberwell. I am married to Ken and have 2 grown up children. I enjoy sports, and support Chelsea FC, albeit from my armchair. I enjoy watching most sports and whilst I am a member of the local gym, I have not attended as regularly as I should have!

In my ministry, I am passionate about social justice, primarily youth safety, and will often preach about issues that are current. Our Church is a member of Southwark & Peckham Citizens, which is under the umbrella of Citizens UK. I am currently trained to be a mentor with XLP, although I am waiting to be matched up with a young person. I am the secretary for the Woolwich Minority Ethnic Anglican Concerns Committee (WMEACC).

I was ordained in 2013 as a Self-Supporting Minister (SSM) and served my first curacy at St Mildred’s Church in Addiscombe. In 2017, I applied via the Candidates Panel and converted to Stipendiary Minister and served a second curacy at my current Church St Luke’s Peckham. Up to September 2017 I worked with HMRC for 33 years and have plenty of life experience. I lived in Thornton Heath before moving to Peckham and have always been in the Diocese of Southwark.

As much of the mentoring will now be on-line I would prefer to mentor someone that is outside of my Diocese. I look forward to journeying alongside you and seeing what God has in store for you.

Every blessing to you.
