The Bristol Diocesan Ministerial Experience Scheme gives participants a wonderful opportunity to experience the breadth and depth of ministry within the Church of England.
Participants will be based in a missional community that offers a wide variety of experiences in parishes which cover the breadth of churchmanship to be found in the Anglican Tradition, providing ministerial and pastoral engagement with communities in a wide variety of social contexts. Participants experience a wide variety of experiences from leading worship, leading study, pastoral interaction, working alongside ministers in the areas of occasional offices, schools work and provision to families and young people.
There is also opportunity for Theological study either at Trinity College Bristol or on the Diocesan course and regular time set aside for theological reflection with other participants and ministers.
Full support and supervision is provided for all participants in what is an amazing opportunity to explore ministry in the church and to reflect on Gods call.
