Discipleship, mission, and exploration: in Durham we are excited to welcome young people to join our vision of being God’s pilgrim people, seeking new ways to reach out to our communities. Our Diocese is home to a rich variety of contexts and church traditions: whatever your background, there will be new opportunities, as well as chances to develop your existing gifts as you study, serve, and explore what God is calling you to in the future.
You’ll be placed in one of our Resourcing Churches, newly structured to enable local mission and deeper discipleship. As we aim to grow our churches we want to invest in children and young people and see transformation in many areas of our Diocese with high levels of deprivation.
We are excited to give our Ministry Experience Volunteers the tools to flourish as followers of Jesus and as leaders, as we join in God’s mission in the North East. Whatever your experience, we’d love to hear from you!
