The Sheffield MES scheme is a chance to spend a year learning more about who God is and who you are.
As part of the year you will be placed in a church and there are options of a variety of churches from different traditions working in different contexts within the Diocese. This includes 2 placements in Sheffield Cathedral. Cathedral Interns become involved in all aspects of community life together developing skills and gaining ministry experience across a wide range of activities. For more info about Sheffield Cathedral, visit sheffieldcathedral.org.
You will also have a chance to do some study and to spend time hearing what God might be calling you to. As part of the scheme you will work with both a placement supervisor as well as a spiritual mentor who will help you process what you are learning and experiencing.
For an informal conversation, please be in contact with [email protected]. If you would like to enquire directly about the opportunities at the Cathedral please contact [email protected].
