God calls people in many different ways, and he equips them with different gifts for the life and mission of the Church. Some are called to ordained ministry, others to lay ministry, leadership, or to serve God through everyday life, work, and community. All are part of God’s work in the world.
The pathways below offer some ways to explore where God may be calling you to serve. They do not include every form of ministry or service across the Church but offer a starting point for discernment and discovery.
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
1 Corinthians 12.4-6
