Take your next step
God calls each of us in different ways. As you explore your calling, you may be beginning to sense a part God is inviting you to play in his story.
The adventure of vocation is not something we discover alone. It begins through prayer, conversation, and becoming more attentive to where God is leading.
The next step is simple:
Talk with your priest, vicar, or church leader.
If your church is currently in vacancy (meaning there is no priest or church leader in post), please speak to your churchwarden, area dean, or archdeacon.
Together, within the life of your local church community, you can pray, reflect, ask questions, and begin to discern your part in God’s story.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. A willingness to explore and an openness to God’s leading are enough to begin.
Not sure where to start?
If you don’t yet have a church you’re connected to, you can find your nearest church here.
This can help you connect with a local vicar or church community to speak with.
After you’ve had a local conversation, a diocesan vocations adviser can support you further if needed.
