The Church Commissioners for England has won two awards at the IPE Real Assets Infrastructure & Natural Capital Global Conference & Awards 2025 in Rotterdam.
The team won the Social Infrastructure and the Biodiversity categories. In addition, the Commissioners were highly commended in the Real Assets & Infrastructure Investor of the Year and the Natural Capital categories.
In the Social Infrastructure category, the judges commended the Commissioners for "demonstrating how investment strategy and mission can be seamlessly aligned to generate both financial returns and social value", highlighting the focus on affordable and supported housing, particularly for vulnerable groups.
For the Biodiversity category, the judges noted how the Commissioners' extensive stakeholder engagement - including farmers, foresters, and global regulators - demonstrates a commitment to systemic change.
The IPE Real Assets Infrastructure & Natural Capital Global Conference & Awards 2025 is a specialist event for investment decision makers at global pension funds.
