The Committee replaced the Mission and Pastoral Committee, and the Church Buildings (Uses and Disposals) Committee on 1st January 2019. It is chaired by the Third Church Estates Commissioner, and a full list of its current membership can be found below. The Committee's scope and Terms of Reference are still being finalised, and will be posted in the Documents section below as soon as they are available.

In Private Session
North Beltisloe (Diocese of Lincoln) - Post meeting note - the Committee decided that the Scheme should proceed, though ask the Bishop to consider an amendment to allow a decision to be made by him (after consultation with the first incumbent) as to which of the two properties in question should be the official residence of the incumbent of the proposed new benefice of The Bytham Parishes.
In Public Session (timings for each case to be confirmed)
Forton and Gosport (Diocese of Portsmouth) - Post meeting note - the Committee decided to refer the matter back to the Bishop for further consideration.
Leigh Park etc (Diocese of Portsmouth) - Post meeting note - the Committee decided that the Scheme should not proceed.
Barton and Carisbrooke etc (Diocese of Portsmouth) - Post meeting note - the Committee decided to propose an amendment to the Bishop, and should he agree to the amendment, then the Scheme be allowed to proceed, otherwise the Scheme should not be made. The amendment would be to remove Barton from the provisions of the Scheme.
