The Evangelism and Discipleship Team is here to support your church in its ministry and mission. As a national team, we amplify ideas, research and initiatives that churches can use. We want to see the Church witnessing to God's love in every community.

Children and Young People - Growing in Faith

We believe that children and young people can follow Jesus and be full members of the church, and that discipleship is possible at any age. They are integral to our churches, but we need to make sure there are no obstacles preventing them from getting involved

The Youth Evangelism Conference

If you’re passionate about introducing young people to Jesus, you might feel like the odd one out. We want to change that. The Youth Evangelism Conference is a day of inspirational teaching, energising conversation and practical advice to equip you to engage with the key opportunity of our time - reaching young people. We pull out all the stops to gather the activists and strategists who are seeding a movement to bring the gospel to a new generation. We pack as much as possible int a single day to make it worth your time and travel. We invite you to be part of a movement to reverse the trend as Jesus builds his church.

Church Support Hub

With shared ideas, useful free downloads, thoughtful articles and the findings of independent research, churchsupporthub.org supports ministry to families around life’s big moments; the birth of a child, getting married and bereavement. All resources aim to help churches build lasting relationships with new contacts, sharing God’s love and welcome with them and growing the body of the church.

Fresh Expressions

Fresh Expressions are new forms of church that emerge within contemporary culture and engage primarily with those who don’t 'go to church'

Believing that God is already at work in the world, Fresh Expressions re-imagine how the Body of Christ can live and work in diverse and changing contexts.

Over 3000 Fresh Expressions are now active around the world.  From the initial vision of Archbishop Rowan Williams and the Mission Shaped Church report (2004) a growing movement of practitioners and pioneers have formed Fresh Expressions of Church in the UK, across Europe and in North America.  Church Army Researcher George Lings calculated that in 2016, a survey of 20 dioceses showed 1109 Fresh Expressions of Church with approximately 50,000 people attending.

Setting Gods People Free (Monday to Saturday - and on Sunday, too!)

Church life can be busy – whether we have a leadership role in a church, undertake slots on various rotas or are simply trying to juggle all the demands on our time.  The gathered life and worship of a church is a vital expression of our faith, but how can this time together better nurture our life of faith across the week?

Germinate: The Arthur Rank Centre

We help communities flourish by equipping rural churches to identify and meet local physical, social and spiritual needs. We support congregations with resources for worship, discipleship, and the maintenance and creative use of buildings.

The Big Church Survey

Who attends our churches? What encourages them to share their faith? What are some of the challenges they face on their faith journey? These are just some of the questions we are asking in The Big Church Survey in order to get a much-needed snapshot of what the Church looks like today.

The survey is quick, simple and any church can take part, no matter their size or location!
