Encouraging Giving in your Parish
Christians are encouraged to give away a proportion of our time, skills and money. This could be to help our church, help other charities, or to help people in need.
Encouraging people to give money in your parish can feel difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. Some simple tasks can help people to think about why they give, the amount they give, and how it fits in with their faith.
Visit the Parish Resources website for resources and help on encouraging generous giving in your church.

Latest news: Contactless Card Readers
In 2017, sixty of our parishes took part in a trial to accept card payments in their churches. You can read a report on the trial here. As a result of the positive feedback from those churches, hand-held card readers are now available for all Church of England organisations to buy through the Parish Buying service.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
