Supporting deaf and disabled ministers

We work with the committee for ministry of and among deaf and disabled people (CMDDP) to help the Church fulfil its calling to be a sign of the radically inclusive kingdom of God for all people – without exception.

We want to inspire the parishes and church institutions to break down barriers, and to embrace and affirm the gifts of all people for the benefit of the whole church.

We’re working to boost representation, provide training, advice and support, and ensure implementation of the Equality Act.

If you’re a deaf or disabled minister, or need advice on ministering to deaf and disabled people, you can contact our National Disability Adviser, Roy McCloughry and National Deaf Ministry Adviser, Gill Behenna for help and advice using the form below.
