Ethical Investment Advisory Group appoints Dami Lalude as new member

The Church of England’s Ethical Investment Advisory Group (EIAG) announced today the appointment of Dami Lalude as the group’s newest member.

Dami will join the EIAG from October 2020 and brings with her a wealth of experience drawing from roles at Helios Investment Partners, and from her time as a Special Advisor to the Minister of Finance in Nigeria, under the guise of the UK Department for International Development (DFID). Prior to joining Helios in September 2013, she served in roles within Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs in London.

The EIAG provide timely and practical advice to the three National Investing Bodies (NIBs) to enable them to invest in a way that is distinctly Christian and Anglican. 

Chair of the EIAG, Barbara Ridpath commented on the appointment: "After a rigorous search process, we are delighted to announce that Dami Lalude has been appointed as a Member of the Ethical Investment Advisory Group, which supports the Church of England's national investing bodies to invest ethically. Dami brings a breadth of experience, sharp insight and investment expertise to the Group and we look forward to her joining formally in October 2020."

Dami also serves on the Board of Directors of GBfoods Africa. She received an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College (First Class Honors) and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Ms Lalude is a Nigerian and British national.
