The Revd Canon Philip Mounstephen, executive leader of Church Mission Society, is to be the next Bishop of Truro, Downing Street has announced.

Canon Mounstephen, 59, was previously chaplain of St Michael’s Church, Paris and has served in the Church Pastoral Aid Society.
