We've created a series of free webinars to offer practical ideas for Church leaders at a local level in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We hope these sessions will provide access to individuals, information and resources that will help to make a difference.

Webinars will take place on Zoom, lasting an hour (unless otherwise stated). They will focus on a specific theme, featuring speakers from the National Evangelism & Discipleship team, and will include a Q&A.

Spaces are limited and registration is required in advance.

Full details, including sign-up links, are included below.

We look forward to hosting you.

What the Church is noticing in these strangest of times

In 2015 Pope Francis said: “We are not living an era of change but a change of era.”
We have been experiencing our culture and society changing for many years, yet the pandemic has accelerated the pace of change. So, what are we noticing in the world around us and what opportunities and challenges might these shifts mean for the Church of England?
Join Heather Cracknell and guests to hear about the work she has undertaken to hear from people working and worshipping in our church the length and breadth of the country, across varied and diverse forms of ministry.

Presenter: Heather Cracknell, Head of Development for Fresh Expressions

Date and time: This webinar had been due to take place in late July, but will now happen in September. A new date and time will be confirmed shortly. All who had signed up for the July date will be contacted once the new date and time are known. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Opening the Doors: Evangelism and Discipleship in the Online Church

Many churches are opening the doors of their buildings for public worship again. But where does this leave online worship? Was this an emergency measure, to be abandoned as we gather physically again? Or are we now called to a new 'mixed ecology', offering worship online and offline, so as to connect with the widest possible group of people? What are the opportunities for evangelism and discipleship in offline worship?

Join us as we discuss these questions together with Bob Jackson and George Fisher (authors of Everybody Welcome Online and Everybody Welcome to the Future), Sandra Millar, Head of Life Events for the Church of England and Adrian Harris, Head of Digital for the Church of England.

Presenter: Stephen Hance, National Lead for Evangelism and Witness
