Light a candle

Lighting a candle is a great way to do that, either here or in a church.

Follow each step to light your candle.

Take a moment to ask for God's blessing

After the child has been baptized, the vicar says to them: “Shine as a light in the world to the glory of God.”

Pray that this child will be a ‘light’ for God as they grow up, bringing his love and hope into the lives of other people.

      An unlit white candle
      The candle is still unlit but there is a lit match
      The lit match is now close to the unlit candle
      The match is lighting the candle
      The candle is now lit and the match is pulling away
      The candle is fully lit

      When you are ready, click on the wick to light the candle.
