As part of a raft of measures implemented on the way to becoming one of England's first Eco Churches, St James' Piccadilly reduced their energy use.

In order to cut emissions, the church installed solar panels along the roof, purchases eco-friendly electricity and has engaged in a carbon offset programme.

While these actions have all contributed massively towards reaching net zero, St James' have also led the way in their broader environmental programme, which has involved planting, citizens' science initiatives, campaigning for global climate justice and education.
