A new interactive calendar marking days and weeks of the year celebrating the environment has been published.

A new resource aimed at keeping climate change issues firmly in people's minds has been published by the Church of England.

The 2024/2025 Environment Days and Key Events Calendar features key awareness days, weeks and months which are associated with the environment, climate change issues and reaching net zero carbon.

It is hoped the calendar, which can be downloaded as a PDF with links or direct to Google calendars, will help parishes to raise awareness about climate change and help with event and campaign planning to help boost support for local eco projects.

The Church of England’s Environment Programme exists to enable the whole Church to address the climate crisis - in faith, practice and mission. This includes tackling our own carbon emissions and our wider environmental work.
