Booklet: Gifts of Faith, Hope and Love

This booklet is aimed at individuals who are thinking about leaving a gift in their will.  It outlines why legacies and will writing are important,  as well as the different ways a legacy can be left to the church - at a local, regional or national level. It provides both spiritual and practical information on how to include a gift in a will and comes with an insert to help someone prepare to visit their solicitor or will writer.

Churches will find it helpful to make copies of this booklet available at the back of church for general use, and to have a small stock in the church office, in case an individual requests a copy directly.

Poster A4: A Lasting Gift to your Church

This booklet helps PCCs to encourage legacy giving by outlining practical steps a PCC can take to plan a legacy campaign.  It also has helpful tools, resources including action points and signposts to further information.

Leaflet: Why Every Christian Should Have A Will

This leaflet provides information on the advantages of writing a will and keeping it up to date.  It also takes the reader through the steps needed to write a will.   

It can be distributed to church members as part of a focus on will writing, as part of a legacy campaign or made available at the back of church for individuals to take away. It can also be used for Baptism and Wedding Preparation and at Young Family Services, as a light touch introduction to will-writing and legacies.

Leaflet: How You Can Make a Lasting Difference

This six-page leaflet provides an introduction to legacies and will writing.  It covers the different ways a legacy can be left to the local parish church, and includes wording for a generic will clause.  It can be distributed to church members as part of a light touch Giving Review, or made available at the back of church for individuals to take away.
