Earlier in 2011, Mission and Public Affairs responded to the Equality and Human Rights Commission's consultation on Legal Intervention on Religion or Belief Rights. In the response we argue that the preservation of religious freedom - which includes the freedom to manifest religious affiliation and live according to those convictions - is fundamental to a free society.
