The ability of a diocese to support parish ministry is hugely influenced by the amount of Parish Share contributed by its parishes.
Throughout 2023 the Giving Directorate undertook research into what makes a successful Parish Share system. This included surveying all 42 dioceses, reviewing financial data, undertaking a communications review and holding in-depth round table discussions with diocesan staff.
The resulting report is now ready. Over 40 pages, it makes recommendations to help dioceses adopt proven good practice in this important area.
