Major Church Contact List

As part of the remit of the Church Buildings’ Council and management of the portfolio of Major Churches in England, we would like to maintain a list of contacts and key figures associated with these buildings. 

For this list to be maintained, consent to hold your personal data is required.

As part of this list of contacts, and given the specialist work attached to these buildings, sharing your contact details with others may prove beneficial. If you consent to your personal details being included within our central contact list, your details will not be shared, unless you provide informed consent against each body/partner listed below.

The bodies that we would like to share your contact details with are

  • The Major Church Network, who would use your personal data for sharing news and related information about their activities
  • The Centre for the Study of Christianity and Culture at the University of York, who would use your personal data for their ongoing research in major parish churches
