Proposals affecting the benefice of East Bridgford and Kneeton, the benefice of Flintham and the benefice of Screveton with Car Colston

Proposals for pastoral reorganisation affecting the benefice of East Bridgford and Kneeton, the benefice of Flintham and the benefice of Screveton with Car Colston in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottignham.

The proposals provide for the termination of the plurality established for the benefices of Flintham; and Screveton with Car Colston; the union of the benefice of East Bridgford and Kneeton, the benefice of Flintham and the benefice of Screveton with Car Colston; the union of the parish of East Bridgford, the parish of Kneeton and the parish of Flintham the union of the parish of Screveton and the parish of Car Colston; the appointment of the first incumbent of the new benefice; her parsonage house to be that of the benefice of East Bridgford and Keeton;the transfer of the parsonage house of the benefice of Flintham to the Southwell and Nottingham Diocesan Board of Finance for diocesan purposes; and the future patronage arrangements for the new benefice

This consultation expires on Monday 9th May 2022.

Anyone may make representations (formal comments) for or against the draft scheme.
