Proposals for pastoral reorganisation affecting the benefices of Bacup and Stacksteads; Saint Anne Edgeside; Goodshaw and Crawshawbooth; Newchurch; Rawtenstall and Constable Lee; Saint Bartholomew, Whitworth and Saint John, Facit in the Diocese of St Albans.

The proposals provide for the creation of a new benefice of Rossendale from the union of 6 benefices and the establishment of a team ministry for the new benefice.

This consultation expires on Friday 24th December 2021

Anyone may make representations (formal comments) for or against the draft scheme.

In order to be considered by the Commissioners, comments must be submitted in writing, either by post or electronically. You can do this in one of two ways:
