Proposals affecting the benefices of Mells with Vobster with Buckland Dinham, Elm, Whatley and Chantry; and Hardington Vale in the diocese of Bath and Wells

The draft Scheme provides for: the proposed transfer of the parish of Buckland Dinham in the benefice of Mells with Vobster with Buckland Dinham, Elm, Whatley and Chantry to the benefice of Hardington Vale where it shall immediately be united with the parish of Hardington Vale; the parish church of Saint Michael and All Angels, Buckland Dinham to become a chapel of ease in the proposed new parish; and for the consequential amendment of the benefice name of Mells with Vobster with Buckland Dinham, Elm, Whatley and Chantry.

Anyone may make representations (formal comments) for or against the draft Scheme. 

This consultation closes on Wednesday 10th July 2024.
