Draft Scheme and Committee Papers
- Draft Scheme - 29052019 - Barton (1021.9 KB)
This consultation has now closed.
As representations were received against the draft scheme the matter will need to be considered by the Commissioners' Mission, Pastoral & Church Property Committee at its meeting on 17th July 2019, in public session.
The Committee Paper and annexes can be found above.
Post meeting note - the Committee decided to propose an amendment to the Bishop, and should he agree to the amendment, then the Scheme be allowed to proceed, otherwise the Scheme would need to be reconsidered by the Committee. The amendment would be to remove Barton from the provisions of the Scheme.
All correspondence received by the Commissioners will be treated as public correspondence.
Full reasons for the Committee's decision and the Notice explaining the rights of those who made representations about the draft Scheme and amended Scheme may be found below.
A copy of the made Scheme can be also be found below but is yet to come into effect. We will post a notice about its effective date on this page in due course. Please note that the benefice of Barton does not form part of the benefices in the made Scheme per the amendment mentioned above.
