Section 3: The role of Safeguarding Case Management Groups

This is a core pathway that applies only to living members of clergy, volunteers, and elected members.

Employees will follow the HR processes of their organisation, which may have provision for a similar type of meeting.  For the avoidance of doubt, this should be read alongside:

  • Pathway 4A: Members of Clergy
  • Pathway 4B: Volunteers and Elected Members
  • In addition, there may be circumstances where this should be read alongside Pathway 4F: Failure to follow safeguarding requirements. Please refer to that section for more detail
