Amended Redress Scheme rules passed at Synod

At General Synod this week, the amended redress rules were presented and passed. These are an updated version of the rules which were approved at Synod in July 2025. The amendments concern a number of practical and procedural improvements. The rules detail the operational procedures, including application processes, assessment criteria, appeal mechanisms and data protection protocols. The Redress Scheme is expected to open later this year.
