Canon Winfield was ordained deacon in 1989 and priest in 1994. She has worked in parish and cathedral ministry, university and military chaplaincy, ecumenical and Anglican Communion relations, and humanitarian diplomacy, representing the Anglican Communion at the United Nations.

NEWS / The Church of England Pensions Board today announced that it has issued £50 million of bonds, giving it access to a further tranche of long-term finance to purchase additional properties for its clergy retirement housing scheme.

The Church Commissioners for England, which manages a £10.1 billion endowment fund to provide long-term financial support for the mission and ministry of the Church of England, has raised £550 million, made up of a £250 million Sustainability Bond with a 10-year maturity and a £300 million conventional bond with a 30-year maturity.
