NEWS / The Archbishops' Council are delighted to announce William Nye has been selected to be its next Secretary-General and Secretary General of the General Synod of the Church of England.

William Fittall, the Secretary General of the Archbishops' Council and General Synod of the Church of England announced his intention to leave his post on November 30th this year.

William Nye, Secretary General of the Archbishops' Council, has today sent the following letter to the Revd Canon Andy Lines, Chairman of GAFCON UK Task Force in response to the briefing paper, 'The Church of England and Lambeth 1:10'.
