A roundtable bringing together investors from around the globe with a shared ambition to support the mining sector was hosted this week by the Church of England Pensions Board.

The Church Commissioners in January 2020 committed our investment portfolio to being net zero by 2050, in line with the Paris Agreement, as a member of the UN’s Asset Owner Alliance. 

Thousands of churches, cathedrals, schools and clergy houses in England will benefit from the first phase of grants and projects worth £30 million, as part of the Church of England’s ambitious plan to achieve net zero by 2030.
