The Archbishops of Canterbury and York made a joint statement today on the recent events surrounding the nomination of Bishop Philip North as Bishop of Sheffield.

Bishop Stephen Geoffrey Cottrell will be confirmed as the 98th Archbishop of York at 11am on Thursday 9 July 2020, in an online service.
